Revealed: The Legacy of Queen Camilla at Court
Information has emerged regarding the coronation of Queen Camilla, recognized as the consort of King Charles III, held at the royal residence of Clarence House. This was reported by the Daily Star.
On May 6, 2023, the coronation of King Charles III took place, during which he declared his second wife, Camilla, as Queen. However, the path to this title was not straightforward for her: following the tragic death of Princess Diana, she faced criticism and frequently invoked negative sentiments within society. At that time, the chosen route toward her acceptance and the utterances about her shaped the image of “this former woman.” Concurrently, Camilla’s image in the eyes of the public and the royal family began to shift. Journalist Hilary Roose noted in her book “The Secret Diary of Queen Camilla” that the relationship between Camilla and Queen Elizabeth II improved thanks to their shared affection for horses and dogs. Ultimately, in 2022, Queen Elizabeth II asserted that “a hidden desire existed” for Camilla to become Queen Consort once her husband ascended the throne.
In 2024, Camilla will adopt several royal titles associated with significant events in the life of the royal family. According to Roose, after all the trials faced by the royal family in recent decades, Camilla has proven her resilience and steadfastness. For this, the staff at Clarence House have bestowed upon her the title of Lady Boss. Those connected to the royal family also believe that Camilla is not merely a person who can be easily overlooked; she does not shy away from dramatic historical narratives. In her book “Royal Documents,” it is suggested that if Camilla had a family motto, it might have sounded like: “Do not be afraid.”
It was previously reported that this summer, King Charles III hails from a lineage of relatives who congregated at the royal residence of Balmoral. He spent that time tending gardens and engaging in painting.
